Welcome to the St Mary's Church Website!!

We welcome you to visit the church and join us in the worship services. The mass is celebrated according to the ancient traditions of the Syrian Orthodox Church in Malayalam-Syriac-English languages.

The Syrian Orthodox Church is one of the oldest orthodox churches. It is believed that St. Peter the Apostle established a bishopric in Antioch and became the first bishop.

The See of Antioch continues to flourish till our day, with His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Zakka I, being the current patriarch. The Patriarchate office is situated in Bab Touma, in the city of Damascus, capital of Syria. The Patriarch resides at the Mor Ephrem monastery in Ma`arat Sayyidnaya, near Damascus. The church has believers all over the world especially in the middle east(Syria, Iraq, Lebanon etc) and India.
